The federal government recently amended the Truth in Lending Act to revise the disclosure requirements for private education loans. With the implementation of new regulations collectively called Title X, there are now six steps of which PNC Solution Loan applicants should be aware. These steps may require various actions to be completed by you or the school in order to successfully progress through the application process.
Please be attentive to e-mails and messages from PNC and American Education Services (AES), our loan servicer. You should plan ahead to deal with all of the required documents each step of the way.

Legislation recently signed by President Obama eliminates the Family Federal Loan Program effective July 1, 2010. This legislation prevents PNC (and all other private lenders) from making new Stafford and PLUS loans with first disbursements on or after July 1, 2010.
If you are looking for a Stafford or PLUS loan for the 2010-11 academic year, we recommend you contact your school's financial aid office to find out what financing options are available for you.
If you are in need of financing for the time period before the new legislation takes effect, we remain willing and able to assist you.
